Documentary video of a sculptural multi media installation. Tat Tvam Asi means "Thou art That" and relates to various Indian religious scriptures defining the nature of human consciousness. In these Scrpitual writings it is suggested that the human soul is incarnated again and again in various bodies much as an individual would put on and take of clothes. In the installation a generic garment - loosely like a kaftan - is suspended from the ceiling whilst a video projector illuminates it with a short animation of a slowly descending sun or fireball. The projection (metaphorically the human soul due to its illumination and mystic symbolism) slowly descends over the chest of the garment repeatedly in a completely silent space. This video has no soundtrack.
